Ariel Blocker is a Contract Administrator for Contract Management. She reviews, negotiates, and facilitates the execution of contracts for The University of Alabama.
 
Ariel obtained a B.A. in English (with summa cum laude honors) in 1993 from Xavier University of Louisiana. As part of her undergraduate studies, she completed research projects at the University of Notre Dame and Duke University. In 1996, Ariel earned her Juris Doctorate from The University of Alabama School of Law, where she was a Junior Editor for the Law and Psychology Review. Prior to her work as a Contract Administrator, Ariel practiced law in Alabama for over twenty-six (26) years. Her law practice included criminal prosecution, employee benefits, and personal injury law.
 
Ariel is a member of the Tuscaloosa County Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar Association.
