Julie is the Director of Contract Management. Her primary responsibilities are the facilitation, review, negotiation and execution of University contracts and the supervision of staff members in her department. Additionally, she works with committees, task forces and focus groups on campus and based upon information gathered makes recommendations for new business processes geared toward maximum efficiency for the contracting process.
 
Prior to joining UA in 2019, she spent 20 years as a civil litigator, licensed in both Alabama and Mississippi. she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and English here at the Capstone. In 1999 she obtained her Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law and in 2001 returned to make Tuscaloosa her permanent home.
